I first realized I wanted to be a teacher when I was in elementary school. I would play school at my house and it was so much fun. To begin with I wanted to teach pre school and my senior year I worked in 2 year old classroom and a kindergarten class and I decided I wanted to teach kindergarten!
I first realized that I enjoyed being a teacher when I started teaching a Sunday School class at my church 10 years ago. The satisfaction that I would get out of seeing the "light bulb" turn on over the kids heads when they suddenly got something was great. I decided then that if I ever had to go to work, (which, since my divorce I do have to)that I would teach.
I first realized I wanted to be a teacher about 6 months ago. My son has epilepsy and I wanted a job that would allow me to spend more time with him. I applied for a Paraprofessional job with the Board of Education in Grady County. I was really surprised to see how many teachers are there just to collect a paycheck. I want to teach because I care about the children and I want to make a difference in their lives.
This is my first semister as an education major. I graduated in 2005 and couldn't decide if I wanted to be a teacher or a nurse. I took 2 years of core classes and finally decided that I wanted to major in nursing. I got accepted into the nursing program at SWGTC and after two semesters decided that it wasn't for me. I realized that I would rather teach. I love children and want to make learning fun for them. I want to help shape the minds of future generations and be a positive role model for my students.
i first realized that i wanted to teach about a year ago because i have been around sports my entire life and wouldnt mind being a coach one year. But i realized that i wanted to teach and be a coach soon after.
I realized I wanted to become a teacher in the 2dn grade. Every weekend I would get my neices and nephews at my house and they would be my students and I would teach them ABC's and math.I would fix them lunch, and make them take a nap.I really loved playing school every weekend. Just 3 years ago a became a para pro and now everyone tells me that I will make a good teacher.
